Stunning mountain views greeted me at Troutbeck. The deluxe double room felt spacious and beautifully kept. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, especially the lovely gardens and well-maintained grounds. Housekeeping provided excellent service, keeping my room clean and tidy. The bathroom was gorgeous, but I noticed the shower needed better water pressure. Dining was a mixed experience. while the trout dish impressed, the overall menu could use more variety and flavor. I faced challenges with noise from early lawn mowing in the mornings, impacting the tranquility. Troutbeck offers a serene escape but could enhance its dining and communication aspects.

Amazing cocktails served by Mr Edgar really impressed me.

During my stay, I encountered noise from lawn mowing early in the morning, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere I was hoping for. I found it quite frustrating that I wasn't informed prior to my arrival that dinner tables for the Christmas dinner needed to be booked in advance. Finally, I noticed that the chairs at the Beck restaurant were uncomfortable, which detracted from my dining experience.

We had a boss time! The lake-view room was stunning, proper relaxing vibes. Clean and spacious, with sweet, smiling staff. But the wifi could be a bit dodgy at times. Still, the food was spot on, with a great buffet for breakfast.
